Here at Johns Hopkins University, we’re thrilled to be celebrating our 150th year—our sesquicentennial! We’ll officially mark our 150th birthday with a Commemoration Day Celebration in February 2026 and carry the celebration through the end of 2026 as we honor our legacy and look ahead to our next 150 years.
There are already more than 500 events that will be sesquitized—historical lectures and panel discussions, exhibitions and tours, performances and networking events, and so much more. These many events represent schools, divisions, departments, institutes, centers, and student groups from across the university.
